Chakra

The name 'Chakra' originates from ancient Sanskrit and is commonly associated with the spiritual energy centers found in the human body according to Hindu and Buddhist beliefs. In fact, 'Chakra' translates to "wheel" or "disk" in Sanskrit, representing the spinning vortexes of energy found within the subtle body. These energy centers are believed to correspond to different aspects of human experience such as physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

According to traditional Indian philosophy, there are seven main chakras that align along the spinal column, from the base of the spine to the crown of the head. Each chakra is associated with a specific color, symbol, sound, and energetic quality. 5. Throat Chakra (Vishuddha): Positioned at the throat, it is associated with communication, self-expression, and truth. Its color is blue, and the symbol is a lotus with sixteen petals.
