Michelangelo

Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, commonly known as Michelangelo, was an Italian artist and one of the greatest sculptors, painters, and architects of all time. He was born on March 6, 1475, in Caprese, Italy. Michelangelo's talent was recognized at an early age, and at the age of 13, he became an apprentice in the workshop of Domenico Ghirlandaio, one of the leading painters in Florence.
